These Ethiopian beans are grown at an altitude of 1600m-1900 MASL. Roasted dark they have a full chocolatey body making it a fantastic Italian style espresso.  As a filter or cafetiere it is a bold and flavoursome cup.

We love it and think you will too !

Description

These are a dark roast single origin Ethiopian arabica beans. One of the Mocha coffees from a region that was originally the only place on Earth that coffee grew. The lineage of these plants goes back to a time when the world’s first coffee houses opened in Mecca.

This wet processed heirloom varietal, when roasted dark by House of Coffee, makes for an extremely satisfying espresso without any bitterness, it’s low on acidity, smooth with notes of chocolate and slight nuttiness.

From a casual to a connoisseur, we think you will  enjoy this coffee.

Fantastic coffee

Recently found this blend after generally opting for Dark Monsoon Malabar (also fab blend by the way) but this blend i find a bit lighter, smoother so easier to drink throughout the day. Blend is always consistent, again as all ones I have tried for HoC over the last few years have been so you know when it arrives you will get a great cup of coffee.

Rich

I prefer a lighter and less harsh brew, so Dark Mocha Djimmah isn't for me, but, that doesn't make it bad. It's actually a very pleasant and flavoursome brew; dark, rich and full-bodied and I think those who prefer such a roast, will love it.
