This roast of Malabar is given an extra minute under the roaster. Sugars in the bean continue to caramelise during this process creating a relatively sweet, strong and richer cup. Perfect for espresso machines, aeropress and for cafetiere and filters coffees on the strong side.
The Monsoon Malabar coffee takes its name from the process of exposing the harvest to the monsoon winds in open-roofed warehouses. This treatment reduces the acidity of the beans and increases their body, producing a uniquely satisfying drinking experience.
